Unlike busducts with fixed slots, the S5 offers flexibility by allowing you to easily reposition plug-in units exactly where you need them for point-of-use power. System layouts can be tailored to your exact power needs. To change the location of power, simply move your plug-in units, without diminishing the ingress protection rating.
Streamlined Installation
S5 busways minimize labor costs with faster installations. The modular, preassembled design requires significantly less labor than busduct or pipe and wire. The system also includes end feed gland plates and hangers so there is no need for additional support modifications that could compromise the system’s ingress protection rating.
Flexible and Customizable
Series-S Track Busway combines the flexibility of track busway with splashproof protection for environments requiring increased ingress protection. This means you can design your power system based on your exact needs. The IP54 protection rating extends to plug-in units, which can be positioned at any point along the busway. Series S5 also has optional revenue-grade metering for load-balancing and monitoring, as well as a wide range of water-tight accessories, such as connectors and receptables.
